first entry!

Since this is my first entry, i will share a bit of my baseball backround. Living right outside of Philly i always hear about being a huge red sox fan, but i can’t help it! they are the fisrt team i ever saw play and i have stuck with them ever since, and having family in lowell Mass and vacationing in the cape helps me keep me update on everything red sox past and present.

It has been good week for Boston, especially when talk goes to the all star game. Six all-stars (is that a record?!). Six of Bostons finest will head out to St. Louis to take down the Nation league …again. Despite the great talent from Boston that are going to be in the all star game Wakefield the knuckleballer at 42! Pedroia small but powerful, Papelbon our record breaking closer, Beckett the lights out starter, YOUUUKK Youkilis, and Jason Bay!!! But we cannot get to excited the Sox are only leading the Yankees by one game. Our six all-stars need to step it up tonight against the a’s to keep the lead strong and with Smoltz on the mound! and speed from Ellsbury and with veterans like Tek and great help from green tonight should be another win for the Red Sox. Unitl next time…
